Genesis collection
Three unique styles inspired by the product and brand aesthetic from the early days of eS footwear. These styles all exist on a spectrum between urban-casual, and fresh-athletic. A new look in footwear design that was pioneered by core skateboard footwear brands during the transition from the mid to late 90s.

From left to right: Accel (1995), Uno (1995), Stylus (1996)
The ‘ethos’ is a shoe inspired by some of the more subtle styles available during the inception of eS, such as the accel, uno, and stylus . This design features a more casual paneling scheme with moments of athletic substance expressed by; a rubber molded emblem below the laces, rubber top eyelet, and an array of dynamic contours sculpted into the midsole. This style is meant to respect the boundary between urban casual and fresh athletic, offering high-function through clean paneling and hidden features such as, a ‘solution e’ blended midsole, and a dynamic tread pattern maximizing traction and flex through an abundance of contact points and a ‘cross-radial’ groove sequence.
The original ‘SLB’ shoe from 1995
The ‘Celeste’ is a design meant to fill the void left behind by the original ‘SLB’ shoe from eS footwear circa 1995. Featuring a mid top silhouette, speed-lacing eye stay, and an internal fit system, the Celeste is designed to bridge the gap between ‘urban casual’ and ‘fresh athletic’. Crazy stylish and sporty, but done simply through; layered panels, deco stitches, and a perforated leather vamp panel and tongue.
From left to right: Contour (1995), Solist (1996), and Ethalon (1996)
The ‘serif’ is inspired by three original styles from eS footwear; The ‘Contour’ (1995), ‘Solist’ (1996), and ‘Ethalon’ (1996). This shoe is designed to push the boundaries of urban-casual and fresh-athletic. A more expressive, organic paneling scheme and tooling harmony, with the addition of; nylon lace loops, rubber eyelets, and a multi directional herringbone-style tread pattern with loads of horizontal flex grooves and notches - The design is a combination of elements that are rooted in dynamism and athletic function, but composed in a way that is subdued and tasteful enough to be inconspicuous in a casual setting.
